Becoming an e-learning author in 5 steps
E-learning has become an essential part of business life. All companies and other organisations and institutions need a way to train internal and external target groups online, not only since the corona crisis.
The training topics cover a wide range, from statutory content such as occupational health and safety, data protection and the General Equal Treatment Act to typical training topics such as sales, communication, and personal development, as well as company-specific trainings on products and processes. Many of these online trainings can be purchased or individually designed and produced by providers such as X-CELL AG. Especially for some internal topics/online-trainings, this makes no sense because of the cost-benefits ratio. Therefore, at least every larger company will need its own staff trained in the field of e-didactics sooner or later. You should bear in mind that "e-learning author" is not an official educational profession.
This five-part training series from X-CELL guides your potential e-learning authors through the process of creating their own e-learning courses - from the initial idea to implementation to the final success control. On request, participants can also receive an individual coaching session: an experienced X-CELL e-learning specialist reflects the work results with them after each step.
